The environment here is particularly good and very quiet. It is a real pleasure to dine here. The food is very delicious and the wine is mellow and very good to drink.

This was a brilliant experience. Our best meal out in Santa Cruz. Our waitress was the perfect mix of helpful but non-intrussive. The food was top quality and beautifully presented. We are both vegan so it was wonderful to have multiple vegan options, plus complimentary appetisers.

We truly enjoyed the evening at MareNubium and will be back. The food was masterly composed, prepared and presented, with a strong focus on local and seasonal ingredients. The service was personal and pleasantly attentive, maybe the best I have experienced. Example 1: I have a wheat allergy and was not only receiving my dishes wheat free and given the choice of gluten-free bread . When I didn't take the gluten-free bread (I just don't like it), I was offered the an extra pot of herb butter to taste purely. I loved that! Example 2: a young family joined and the young daughter was given a menu too (she couldnt read yet) and served with the same sincere-serene attention as us adults. The atmosphere is stylish and calmly serene. Lovely experience, looking forward to be back.

Excellent restaurant based on location being in sea front and very good cooking, one downside is the service or lack of serving staff.

I love this restaurant, one of my favourites, but the prices have really gone up,since I was there earlier in the year (but like most places,I suppose) but I think meal for 2 starters and main with a normal bottle of wine at 96€is abit high.

Overall, all the dishes were delicious, except for the sticky rice, which was tough. I'd share it, but I wouldn't order any rice.

115 Danalife Tenerife ➡️Where: Located in the Canary Islands, Spain, it takes 2 hours to get here by boat from Gran Canaria ➡️Recommended travel time: 3 days ➡️The highest peak in Spain is Mount Teide, which is 3,718 meters above sea level. However, this mountain is not located in mainland Spain (Iberian Peninsula), but in the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean. If the height is calculated from the seabed, the total height of Mount Teide is 7,500 meters, which also makes it the third largest volcano in the world. Although Mount Teide has only symbolically ejected a few wisps of hot air from its head for more than a hundred years (the last eruption was in 1909), its temper has not been small in the past millions of years. In fact, the formation of the entire Canary Islands is related to the eruption of Mount Teide. The TF-21 highway on the island can take you directly to the Mount Teide cable car station. The end of the cable car is halfway up the mountain, where there are several hiking routes to choose from. If you arrive around dusk, you can also see the huge triangular reflection of Mount Teide printed on the Atlantic Ocean. There is a geological park at the foot of Mount Teide. The landform is like the landscape of Mars. The rocks are all volcanic rocks with low density and light weight. Even children can easily lift a large piece. This is also an ideal experimental base for humans to enter extraterrestrial space. In 2017, the European Space Agency tested the interstellar rover here. From the port with a sea level of 0 to Mount Teide, you have to pass through a forest. When I passed the forest, the clouds and fog in front of me were almost zero visibility. The tour guide introduced that this thick fog not only provides abundant water for plant growth, but also plays a sound insulation role. When we drove the car above the thick fog, the world around us suddenly became quiet. In addition to the sound of the wind, it seems that you can hear your own heartbeat. Danalife Island is the hometown of the dragon blood tree. The growth of this plant follows the exponential law. The branches are one to two, two to four, and four to infinity. In the end, each tree will become a huge umbrella. The average temperature of Danalifu Island is around 24 degrees throughout the year, which is very suitable for vacation. In 1974, the Spanish government planned to build a yellow sand beach, so it transported sand from the Sahara Desert. Sanmao's husband Jose once worked on this construction site. You can also see a big guy called short-finned pilot whale on the west coast of Danalifu Island. They like to eat squid, but the squid hides very deep (living in the deep sea area 400 to 800 meters below sea level). When the male whale hunts, it will dive at a speed of 9 meters per second. After catching the squid, it will not kill it immediately, but drag it to the surface first. The rapidly reduced water pressure will make the squid automatically give up resistance. ➡️Private recommendation: There is a century-old restaurant on the island. This is La Hierbita, which was founded in 1893. You can order their black-mouthed fish and a dessert called Gofio. The top layer of syrup is taken from palm trees, and this syrup can only be collected in the morning. ➡️365 days of travel thoughts: Occasionally you will encounter strong winds during your trip. You may feel a little panic at first, but once you get used to it, you will find that strong winds can not only awaken people's passion, but also give birth to many unrealistic dreams. #BackpackingTenYears #tenerife #SpanishTravel

The food is abundant but not up to my expectations. The Canarias soup was really nice, very tasty. We also had a grilled fish but the fish was not grilled at all. Instead it was swimming in garlic butter and quite salty which ruined the meal. the potatoes served with it were also very salty which didn't improve the experience. On the positive side the bread was good and the house white wine was vet good (light and fruity). The staff is also very friendly. All in all not too bad but not what we were expecting after reading other reviews. At least you are not working out with hunger or broke!

We've been in Tenerife for a few days and decided to try something different from the local cuisine. We were very pleasantly surprised by this place. The staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived. The food was very tasty and freshly prepared. (be aware the portions are bigger than they look lol)If I'm back in Tenerife and craving for Indian food I'll be definitely coming back.
